You can view the yield of your portfolio and individual ETFs in the InvestEngine mobile app and in your online account. This is displayed as a percentage value.
The yield is the income you can expect to receive over the next 12 months from your investments, coming in the form of dividends. The Yield will only be displayed in your InvestEngine account if you have invested in distributing ETFs. Accumulating ETFs will not pay out dividends, but rather re-invest them back into the fund, see here for more information: What happens when my ETFs pay out dividends?
For distributing ETFs in your online account and in the ETF range, the Yield displayed is for dividends paid divided by the price of the ETF over a 12 month period.
At a portfolio level, the yield displayed will be all income over a 12 month period, then divided by the portfolio value.
Clients can search our ETF range using the Yield as a filter.
The yield will update from the payout date of the dividend and this will be updated daily, to take into account the ETF price/portfolio value.
