You can withdraw part or all of the cash/funds in your portfolio at any time.
If you are using a Managed Portfolio we will initiate the sell-down of the relevant portion of your holding and send the funds to your nominated bank account. The full process takes approximately 4 full working days to complete.
Please note: if your withdrawal request takes your Managed portfolio balance to below £100, we will have to sell down your full portfolio balance. This is because the minimum required balance on a Managed portfolio is £100.
Cash withdrawals usually take up to 2 business days to be transferred back to your nominated bank account. To withdraw cash follow the steps below:
Open the portfolio -> ‘Options' -> 'Withdraw cash’ -> Enter the amount -> 'Withdraw'.
To withdraw the entire portfolio balance, simply enter the sum required to return your portfolio balance to zero. The balance available is displayed on the 'Withdraw cash' screen.
Please note that the sell-down will be initiated once all other orders in your portfolio have settled.
If you are using a DIY Portfolio you can withdraw your cash balance (displayed on the top right-hand side of the Portfolio performance graph).
Open the portfolio -> ‘Options' -> 'Withdraw cash’ -> Enter the amount -> 'Withdraw'.
If you want to withdraw funds that are invested in ETFs you will need to initiate the sale of the ETFs yourself: How can I buy/sell ETFs?
You can withdraw your money whenever you want. We don’t charge a fee for making a withdrawal or closing your account.
Please note: you must keep in mind, that if you withdraw from your ISA account it will affect your allowance for that tax year.
Due to international money laundering requirements, we can only transfer money back to your nominated bank account.
If you are experiencing any problems, please submit a request via our website contact form and we will help you through the process.
Please note: promotional bonuses may be clawed back from your withdrawal, as per the promotions terms and conditions, if you have not maintained the minimum contribution amount for the minimum required duration (this is not a fee).
