Manual bank transfer takes one business day to complete (excludes weekends and bank holidays). If you complete the transfer before 6:30 pm it will be processed the following business day. If you complete it after 6:30 pm, it will be completed the business day after.
There are two steps to Manual Bank Transfers. The first step is on InvestEngine and the second is in your online banking.
The message: 'We are waiting for a manual bank transfer of £XXX.XX' will appear in your portfolio as soon as the first step is completed and will remain there until the relevant sum reaches your account. It will remain there whether the second step was completed or not.
If your manual bank transfer already appears in your 'Transactions' tab and was added to the portfolio balance, but the pop-up remains, it might be that your payment had to be processed manually. You can click on 'View details or cancel' to remove the message.
You can also remove the message if you completed the first step and no longer wish to complete the second.
