AutoInvest is an optional feature that automatically invests your new funds according to the target weights that you set in your portfolio.
It allows you not to worry about manually investing new funds added to your account.
When you create a new DIY Portfolio AutoInvest is 'off' by default.
You can disable AutoInvest if you want to buy new single ETFs with your deposits, rather than increase the overall holding of all your existing ETFs.
To turn AutoInvest 'on' or 'off' follow these steps;
Open your portfolio> 'Options'> AutoInvest available cash> Toggle to 'ON' or 'OFF'
You can also set your cash buffer, which will only invest cash that exceeds the specified amount you set. For example, if you set a cash buffer of £50 and you have a total cash balance of £75, AutoInvest will only invest £25.
