To add a new bank account to your InvestEngine account, please follow the steps below:
Select Managed Portfolio > 'Add funds' > 'Link another account'
Select DIY Portfolio > 'Options' > 'Add cash' > 'Link another account'
Select Settings > 'Funding' > 'Link another account'
You can also use the 'Instant bank transfer' option, which will take you through a similar process that will allow you to link your new bank account.
You'll then need to follow the Truelayer instructions to link the account.
Your bank account is then taken through an automatic check, and you may need to upload a bank statement. In some cases, manual verification of the bank statement is required. We aim to process manual bank account verifications within one business day. A member of our Onboarding team will be in touch in case any further action is required.
Currently, we know that Chase Bank, Virgin Money (Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Building Society), Co-operative Banking, Metro Bank, Kroo, and Triodos Bank are not supported via the Open Banking infrastructure. If you want to link a current account that you have with any of the above banks, please send your latest bank statement to our support team at support@investengine.com, so that we can manually link the bank account for you.
