To top up your portfolio, simply follow the steps below:
Select Managed portfolio > 'Add Funds' > Select one of the methods below
Select DIY portfolio > 'Options' > 'Add cash' > Select one of the methods below
- Instant Bank Transfer - Our Open Banking service provides you with a secure link to your banking app or website where you just log in and authorise the transfer amount. We’ve integrated this facility into InvestEngines online service and app using our partner TrueLayer, an FCA-authorised payment institution. It’ll take you to your bank’s app or website to confirm the transaction, and then bring you back to InvestEngine where your funds will normally show immediately in your portfolio balance. It’s quick and secure and you keep full control of your money — you authorise the transfers through your own bank’s app or website, and we never see your bank login or password.
- Manual Bank Transfer - This works in the same way as you'd normally transfer funds to and from family and friends via your online banking. After selecting 'Manual Bank Transfer' in your InvestEngine dashboard and entering your deposit amount, you'll see the InvestEngine Sort Code and Account Number needed to transfer your funds. From here, simply login to your online banking and use these details to complete the transfer from your registered bank account, using your portfolio reference (IP********) as the description. Manual bank transfers will be processed the following business day if they have been made before 6.30 pm.
- Direct Debit - This will allow us to automatically collect your submitted cash amount directly from your registered bank account on a certain date each month. The maximum limit per direct debit payment is £5,000. A new Direct Debit can take up to seven working days from the initial direct debit mandate. Once set up, a Direct Debit will appear in your InvestEngine account three working days after it has been deducted from your bank account. This method cannot be used for your initial deposit.
