You need to select at least one ETF to add funds to your DIY Portfolio.
However, as long as the AutoInvest is disabled, your new funds will not be invested in that ETF and will remain as a cash balance until you are ready to invest. AutoInvest is disabled by default in all new portfolios.
The initial ETF choice carries no obligations and you can remove it later, once you have chosen the ETFs you wish to invest in. We have a selection of over 570 ETFs to choose from in our DIY ETF range.
