You can check your portfolio performance any time in the app or on our website.
We show:
- Value change (£) – how much your investments have gone up or down in pounds.
- TWR (%) – this is the time-weighted rate of return, which shows how your portfolio has performed over time, without being affected by any money you’ve added or taken out.
What is TWR and why do you use it?
TWR (time-weighted rate of return) gives a clear picture of how your investments are doing.
TWR calculation: investment return = current value + withdrawals ‑ contributions
It removes the effect of money going in or out, so it only shows the actual investment performance. This helps you see how well your portfolio has grown based on the market, not based on when you added or withdrew money.
Does performance include dividends?
Yes, all returns shown include dividends and interest received from your investments.
If your portfolio is set to auto-reinvest, these are used to buy more of your investments.
How often is the performance updated?
Your portfolio performance is updated once a day on business days (Monday to Friday), based on the latest market prices.
