Keeping track of your ISA allowance helps you make the most of your tax-free investing and avoid accidentally going over the limit.
At InvestEngine, we make it easy to see how much of your allowance you’ve used and how much you have left, including any part you can replace under Flexible ISA rules.
Check your dashboard
When you log in, your ISA allowance tracker is shown clearly at the top of your Dashboard, just above your ISA portfolios.
You’ll see:
- How much of your £20,000 allowance for tax year 2025/26 you’ve used
- How much you have left for the current tax year
- If you’ve made withdrawals, the remaining allowance includes any amount you can still replace under Flexible ISA rules
The tracker updates in real time as you add or withdraw money.
You’ll also see it when making a payment
Whenever you add money to your ISA, we’ll show your remaining allowance at the point of payment- so you always know where you stand.
- You won’t be able to create a payment that would take you over your ISA allowance
- This helps prevent accidental over-contributions within InvestEngine
Important: The figure shown will only be what you have contributed to your ISA through InvestEngine.
If you’ve also paid into another ISA elsewhere this tax year, it’s your responsibility to ensure you stay within the £20,000 total limit across all providers.

What if I’ve transferred from another provider?
If you’ve made an ISA transfer for the current tax year, any contributions you made with your previous provider will also count toward your annual allowance.
- We’ll update your remaining allowance once we receive the correct information from your previous ISA manager
- This may take a few days depending on the provider
- As soon as we have the figures, they’ll be reflected in your dashboard
