We aggregate all of your orders together into a single grouped trade (1 buy & 1 sell trade per ETF each day). This helps to keep costs low.
We then execute these trades using an RSP model. The Retail Service Provider (RSP) model is a service offered by the London Stock Exchange (LSE) that allows retail investors to trade stocks listed on the LSE through a broker (or RSP).
This RSP acts as an intermediary between the InvestEngine and the stock exchange, executing trades on behalf of the individual. We ask for quotes from a network of RSPs and select the best prices. The RSPs in turn use a platform provided by the LSE to execute trades. The RSP platform consolidates orders from multiple brokers and executes them on the LSE. The platform uses an algorithm to match buy and sell orders at the best available price. The algorithm takes into account factors such as the number of shares available for sale, the price, and the time of the order.
The RSP model is designed to provide liquidity, while ensuring that your order is executed at the best available price.
Trades executed using the RSP model will not show as public trades on London Stock Exchange but are still considered as executed on the LSE.
