If you have a Vanguard Personal Pension, you may be able to transfer it to an InvestEngine SIPP.
Step 1: Find your Vanguard pension details
You’ll need your account number.
You can find this by:
- Logging in to your Vanguard account dashboard
- Checking account statements
- Looking under “Account details” in your profile
Step 2: Start your transfer
- Log in to InvestEngine
- Select Transfer a pension
- Choose Vanguard
- Enter your account details
Step 3: Transfer process
- Vanguard pensions are usually transferred as cash
- Your funds will ordinarily be sold before transfer
- Transfers are typically handled electronically
- In-specie transfers – i.e. moving assets over without selling them first – are possible in some instances
Step 4: Timescales
- Cash: 2–4 weeks
- In-specie: 4–6 weeks
