If you have a pension with AJ Bell (including AJ Bell Youinvest), you may be able to transfer it.
Step 1: Find your AJ Bell details
You’ll need your account number.
You can find this by:
- Logging in to your AJ Bell account
- Checking your dashboard or statements
- Looking under account settings
Step 2: Start your transfer
- Log in to InvestEngine
- Select Transfer a pension
- Choose AJ Bell
- Enter your account details
Step 3: Transfer process
- AJ Bell supports both cash and in-specie transfers
- In-specie – transferring without selling first – depends on whether your holdings are supported on InvestEngine
- If not, investments will be sold and transferred as cash. Cash transfers are more common
Step 4: Timescales
- Cash: 2–4 weeks
- In-specie: 4–6 weeks
