Common reasons you might be locked out
Incorrect Email or Password
The most common login issue is using the wrong email address or an outdated password.
- Make sure you're entering the email you signed up with
- Watch out for autofill errors or extra spaces
- Passwords are case-sensitive, so check for capitals or symbols
If you’re unsure, try resetting your password using the steps below.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Issues
If you use 2FA and no longer have access to your code:
- Try using a backup code, if you saved one
- If you’ve changed phone or deleted your authenticator app, contact us
- We’ll securely verify your identity and help you log back in
For now, if you’re not using 2FA, this step won’t apply to you – but we recommend enabling it
Technical Issues or Device Problems
Sometimes login problems are caused by your browser or device.
Try:
- Clearing your browser cache and cookies
- Using a different browser or switching to incognito/private mode
- Logging in via our mobile app if the desktop version isn’t working — or vice versa
How to Reset Your Password
If you’ve forgotten your password or want to change it:
- Go to the InvestEngine login page
- Click “Forgot password?”
- Enter your registered email address
- Open the password reset link sent to your inbox
- Follow the instructions to create a new password
If you try the wrong password too many times, your access may be temporarily blocked. Wait a few minutes before trying again or get in touch with our team.
Password Reset Not Working
If you’ve used the “Forgot password?” link but didn’t receive an email:
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Make sure you entered your email address correctly
- Wait a few minutes — sometimes there’s a slight delay
- Avoid sending multiple reset requests in quick succession
